About
SPIES for Parents Video Examples
SPIES for Parents uses video examples to illustrate the techniques
and concepts which are discussed on this site. The videos
provide a useful demonstration of the techniques and how they
can be used with children. In order to view these video examples,
you will need the Apple QuickTime 5 (or greater) Plug-In.
To download the free QuickTime Movie Viewer, please click
"Get
QuickTime"
and follow the directions.
We have made every effort to make the videos as easy and
quick to download as possible. However, on rare occasions,
a computer's configuration will not work with QuickTime or
if you are connected to the Internet with a slow modem, the
videos may take a long time to download. In this case, a textual
description of the videos is also included on the examples
page. Please remember, that while the videos provide enhancement
to the site, they are not essential for using and understanding
this site.
A link to test to see if you can view the videos is below
- a short clip from the SPIES series will appear in a pop-up
box if everything is installed correctly. Also, some common
troubleshooting suggestions and links can be found at the
bottom of this page. If you have any questions or difficulty
with viewing the movies, please contact the Webmaster.
