This final chapter will addresses more ways to manage difficult
behavior in positive ways. The strategies discussed in previous
chapters continue to be important:
- Maintain a positive environment
for your child.
- Continue to use methods that
teach your child new language and 'good' behavior.
- Say what you mean.
- Follow through.
- Be consistent.
Now you will learn about effective 'time-in' and 'time-out'
methods.
