Chapter 7 - Expanding Language

Expanding Language Practice Worksheet

Use this worksheet to help you focus on expanding sentences. Think of ways to expand what the child says and means. There is not just one right answer in this practice. Try to think of a few different ways for adding to the child's sentence. Try to think of your child or a child you know and what they mean when they say childish sentences like the ones in the worksheet. If you have trouble starting, check the example answers at the end of the worksheet. Then think of your own expansions!
