Chapter 9 - Arranging the Environment

Enrich the Environment!

An effective way of stopping or preventing unacceptable behavior is to provide your child with lots of interesting things to do. You can provide him/her with different activities and toys or materials (papers, crayons and markers, coloring books, books, stickers, glue, chalk and chalkboard, etc). If a child is involved in something stimulating, something that makes him/her think and have fun, he/she is more likely to stay out of trouble.
