Chapter 9 - Arranging the Environment

Restrict the Environment by Setting Boundaries.

Sometimes it helps to designate a special place in the house where a child can play freely . The place would be special in that your child could be noisy, messy, and free to explore his/her toys, or maybe watch favorite movies. By having a special place, your child is less likely to wander away to other parts of the house where those activities are not acceptable to you.
