Unexpected Events

Unexpected events is a way to create a teaching opportunity by saying or doing something that your child doesn't expect based on his or her current understanding of the activity or event. These may be silly, funny or interesting things you say and do that prompt your child to make comments, ask questions, solve problems or play with things around him or her.
