Full Physical Help

Full Physical Help Example 1

Skill: Quinnten needs to learn to Increase Finger Strength.
Quinnten and his mother are together.
His mother provides a "natural cue by directing his attention to his Brailler.
His mother provides full physical help by providing hand-over-hand guidance and helping him to depress the keys.
The result is that Quinnten is able to build finger strength so he can use his Brailler independently.
The natural reward is that Quinnten experiences movement of the Brailler keys.

Full Physical Help Example 2

Skill: Quinnten needs to learn to Increase Finger Strength.
Quinnten and his mother are together.
His mother provides a "natural cue by saying, "We have got to open the can."
His mother provides full physical help by placing his finger in the ring and helping to pull off the lid.
The result is that Quinnten pulls the lid off the can.
The natural reward is that Quinnten gets to feed and pet the cat.
