We're glad you're here and we hope you find
this site useful. This site is about methods and procedures
for helping your preschool
child with a disability.
The kind of information we offer is related to changing things
in your family's everyday
settings in order to help your child develop or improve
skills. These skills may have been identified as important
to your child's growth and development in an IEP
or IFSP
meeting or in some other way.
The SPIES website is built to help you learn
about a way of helping your child using Naturalistic
Interventions. Help based in naturalistic interventions
comes from the belief that any time children and adults are
together, there are opportunities for learning.
This website also has other purposes as well.
